Low Moisture Steam Cleaners - How Well do They Clean Carpets?

Low Moisture Steam Cleaners
Low moisture steam cleaners, unlike carpet cleaning machines, cannot clean large carpeted areas. They are however, invaluable when it comes to spot cleaning carpets. Spills, stains, fungal colonies, allergens — these can be removed from carpets quickly and without fuss if you use a quality steam cleaner.

Not all low moisture steam cleaners are as sturdy or efficient as they are made out to be. Some low moisture steam cleaners are very inefficient. They lose pressure fast and the temperature level drops within 15 minutes. This compels the user to stop the machine, refill the boiler, and wait for it to rebuild pressure before they can begin cleaning again.

Daimer® on the other hand, offers low moisture steam cleaners that are built for nonstop use. The KleenJet® Pro Plus 300CS, for example, has a continuous refilling feature. This means that you can fill the boiler even while the machine is running. Usually, this is impossible due to the high pressure inside a steam cleaner’s boiler. The KleenJet® Pro Plus 300CS, on the other hand, has a non pressurized refilling chamber through which the boiler is refilled.

Steam cleaners are not recommended for cleaning large stretches of carpets. They do not contain the right pressure levels and their high temperature settings can damage carpets. Even when spot cleaning, it is recommended to make sure your carpets can handle the high temperature settings of steam cleaners.

Using Daimer®’s steam cleaners, you can clean small rugs, carpet corners and stained portions, mattresses, and cushions
